Setting up at TRX

Before you begin configuring TRX as a biller in NATS, you must first sign up for an account with them. This can be done through their website at https://trxservices.com.

Be sure to record any essential information you receive during the signup process.

Setting up TRX in NATS

To set up TRX as a biller in NATS, there are a few places you will be visiting including the Billers Admin, Sites Admin, and

Billers Admin

To start, navigate to the Billers Admin, click the "Add a Biller" button at the top right of the page and select "TRX" from the drop-down menu, and click "Add."

Please Note: If you don't see TRX, put in a support ticket, as you may need an updated version of NATS.

You will then be prompted for your Client, Source, and Token. These will have been provided by TRX when signing up for an account. If you were not given this information, please contact TRX.

Sites Admin

There are no site settings for TRX.

Options Admin

TRX only supports USD

Cross/Up Sales Admin

Cross Sales

To configure outgoing cross sales in NATS, navigate to the Cross/Up Sale Admin, click the Cross Sales section then click on the "Outgoing" Cross Sales tab. Add TRX from the Processor drop-down menu, and click the "Add" button.

On the next page, you will be prompted to fill in the following Membership details:

  • Title

  • Description

  • Disclaimer for your cross-sale option

As well as the following Biller Details:

  • Ref Code

  • Domain

Please Note: You can also choose if you want to send an HTTPS Post when a cross-sale transaction occurs with TRX, or if you want to recalculate your ref code.

When you have finished configuring your option, click Save Changes.

If you wish to configure an incoming cross sale in NATS, navigate to the Cross/Up Sale Admin and click on the "Incoming" Cross Sales tab. Add TRX from the processor drop-down menu, select the Site and Program you want your incoming cross-sale to affect, and click the "Add" button.

You will then be prompted to input the following details:

  • Title for your cross-sale option,

  • Initial and Recurring membership fees and lengths,

When you have finished configuring your option, click Save Changes.

Before you can process cross-sales in NATS, you will need to allow the IP of the system sending the cross-sale. You can do this in the Configuration Admin's Billers section. Scroll down to the TRX section, and add your desired IPs to the Xsell Trx Secure IPs configuration option.

Up Sales

To configure Up Sales for TRX, follow the same instructions given above for Cross Sales but in the Up Sales section.
