# Replacement Variables for Blocks

## Common Replacements

Replacement Variables can be used to dynamically set the name of elements that appear on various Blocks, such as the **Set List Block** and the **Model List Block,** to change the title of lists, or modify the appearance of buttons.

## Set Lists

Replacement Variables can be used in text fields on Set Lists to display information that is relevant to that Block and Page. 

Take a Model Page, for example, the replacement variable {{models.name}} can be used in the field of various Set List blocks to display the current model's name.

This only has to be set once and will automatically provide the name of the model.

## Header Link

Alongside the name of a model, the total count of content connected to a block can be listed using the {{content.total}} replacement variable in the Header Link Text portion of the Block's Design tab.
