Member Areas and Tours

In the NATS CMS, the Tour serves as an introduction and landing page for visitors engaging with a preview of your content, while the Member Area serves as the main hub for your Members to interact with the Content you have uploaded. Together, they make for a user experience that can be customized and tailored to your liking to maximize growth and engagement for your pay site.

Tours

On your Tour, visitors can view previews of your content, making the tour a promotional site for the Member Area.

Please Note: Tours in the CMS differ from the Tours found in the Sites Admin.

Tours can be customized separately from your Member Area, giving you enough flexibility to promote your content in different ways, such as promoting seasonal events or catering to a specific group of people.

The tour is also a login point for Members to get to Member Areas where they have an active subscription.

Member Areas

The Member Area is exclusive to visitors who have purchased a membership to your site.

The Members Area has a few more features and settings than the tour, such as viewing full videos, comments, ratings, account profiles, and more.

• The Members for the CMS are the same Members for NATS.

• Content is uploaded to a Content Server in the form of a Content Set. It is then published to a Channel that a Member Area has access to.

• You can customize the member area to look similar or dissimilar to the tour using the same tools. Skills used in learning to design one directly benefit the design of the other.

Look & Feel

Every visual aspect of your visitor-facing design is easily managed within the CMS Admin as a Theme for that area. This will include:

• The overall color scheme for your brand.

• Design choices, like font sizes, colors, etc.

• Pages, menus, navigation options, and more.

• Design your page using the easy-to-use Block Builder to drag and drop Blocks with different functionality.

Whether it be the Member Area or your Tour Area, your overall design is easy to manage for all comfort levels. Everyone, from a pixel-perfect designer to someone who only wants a green page background, will find our theme management system to be a gem.
